Saturday 19 October – SuperFlash Store
duration 4h: 14.30 – 18.30
Intensive course to learn how to narrate your journey, from novel to reportage. Every journey begins in imagination, occurs in reality, continues in memory and is inseparable from its report. Travel writing is one efficient way of understanding and telling the places you visited, because, as Proust wrote, “the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes”.
Guido Bosticco (1972) teaches creative writing and publishing at the Università di Pavia. He published “Riempire i vuoti. Un manuale (soggettivo) di scrittura e comunicazione” (2007); “La tromba a cilindri. La musica, io e Pasolini” (2008) and “PPP. Il mondo non mi vuole più e non lo sa” (2012).
Professional journalist, he is a founder of Epoché, agency for political and institutional communication and cultural projects. He travels, writes and plays music when he can.
