Edith’s life completely changes when the firm where she works decides to move to Morocco. Between unemployment and moving with the firm, she chooses the second option, since she has nobody to stay for. So she moves to Tangier. It’s not easy to work in a new factory while adapting to a new country, but Edith finds some consolation in the friendship with Mina, the owner of the boarder house where she’s staying. It is thanks to this connection that Edith’s life takes a new turn.

Biography

Gaël Morel is an actor, director and screenplay writer. He debuts in 1994 featuring in Wild Reeds and in 1995 he directs Full Speed. In 2002 his work Les chemins de l’oued wins the Fipresci Award at the Toronto Film Festival. In 2007 he realizes Après lui, which has been selected in the “Quinzaine des Réalisateurs” section in Cannes. He also directs some films for television.
