Kun-chan is a four-year-old boy who struggles to accept the arrival of his new baby sister, Mirai. The discovery of a magical garden will allow him to travel through time, to meet the young versions of his mother and great-grandfather and … to know an older version of Mirai, coming from the future. An adventure that will teach Kun-chan what it really means to be an older brother.

Biography

Mamoru Hosoda (Toyama, 1967) is a director and animator of Anime. After graduating, he joined Toei Animation, for which he made his directorial debut in the first Digimon films (Digimon Adventure and Our War Game!); in 2005 he directed, again for Toei, the sixth film in the One Piece series, Baron Omatsuri’s Secret Island. The following year he got in the Madhouse Animation Studio, for which he directed the films that made him known to the general public: The girl who jumped over time (2006), Summer Wars (2009), Wolf Children – Ame and Yuki (2012) and The Boy and the Beast (2015).
